Announcing Ashley Smith as Teeps' new Chief Operating Officer
We are excited to announce that Ashley Smith has joined the Teeps team as our Chief Operating Officer. Ashley is an extraordinary leader who brings extensive experience as an effective team builder and product development executive. This year has already proven to be Teeps' largest year of growth to date, and Ashley's proven track record of scaling a technology-focused startup will have an immediate impact on the momentum that Teeps is building.
Prior to joining Teeps, Ashley helped grow and lead the team at Code School as their Chief Operating Officer. During her time at Code School, they grew the team to 50 people, increased revenue by more than 800%, and established Code School as a leader in the online education space. Following this success, Ashley oversaw the $36M acquisition of Code School by education giant Pluralsight, and orchestrated the integration of teams amidst the then 800-person company. Her experience scaling healthy teams and products in a high-paced environment is the perfect complement to our long-term vision.
